How has God “Shaped” you?

Jesus made it clear that our purpose in life is to Love God and Love our Neighbors. We try to focus all that we do on Worship,  Grow, and Share to accomplish these purposes.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This the great and first commandments. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
– Matthew 22:37-39

This past Sunday (Jan. 6), Jake Sorber, Bethany Camp’s Program Director, shared the SHAPE concept during his message about being created to contribute. If you have never thought about how God uniquely gifted you and “shaped” you, I would encourage you to do that. The church exists to help develop disciples (followers of Jesus) who are making more disciples. We want to help and encourage you any way we can.

How has God uniquely “SHAPED” you to serve Him?

There is a free on-line assessment at the link below. You can send the results to me at pastormark@dunkirkbaptist.org and I can spend time talking with you about where God might be directing you to Worship, Grow, and Share with us at First Baptist.

The amazing part of God’s plan for the church, is that no two people are exactly the same so we need EVERYONE doing what God created you for. Don’t sit on the sidelines – Get in the Game!
