God’s Throne is Eternal
Today is a presidential election day with a fierce battle between red and blue. Our nation is divided and our people are looking for hope. The seat in the oval office is occupied by a new president every 4 to 8 years. Pro and con, right and wrong, legal or illegal seem to continually shift and change. But God’s throne is eternal. It never changes.
God’s justice, His judgment of righteousness, His uprightness never, ever change. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is a stronghold, a fortress for times of trouble. Those who trust in Him will not be forgotten. They will not be forsaken.
Be gracious to us, O Lord. Our hope is in You.
