Church Service online only this Sunday

Due to the coronavirus meeting and assembly restrictions, this Sunday’s worship service and all other services, meetings and events are canceled until further notice.

Join the Sunday morning worship service on Facebook LIVE or watch/listen later on our website.

Dear Church Family & Community,

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 Our hope is in Jesus Christ and we do not have to worry what is happening around us. Our great God is sovereign and He has not left us alone. Let’s be a testimony of God’s love, compassion, faith and in obeying the authorities.

First Baptist Church Dunkirk, desiring to comply with our local and national authorities, will cancel all in-person gatherings and activities through April 18.

Based on new information that may be released, we will determine how to move forward. We plan to provide our Sunday Worship service live on Facebook and then available to watch or listen on our website. If you want help with these technologies we will do our best to help you get connected. We encourage you to pray with us on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm when we would normally meet. You can find the Prayer Sheet every Wednesday on www.Facebook.com/dunkirkbaptist  and our FBC website.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC), in accordance with its guidance for large events and mass gatherings, recommends that for the next 8 weeks, organizers cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States. The White House just limited gatherings to under 10, but when that restriction is lifted we hope to have Growth Groups and Prayer Meeting in-person again.

Our church still needs to keep supporting our missionaries, paying utilities and salaries, so please continue to support us financially. You can give on-line with a credit card or Pay Pal at https://dunkirkbaptist.org/give/ or you can mail in or drop off your offering at the church. The office will be open Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Please look after your own family, your church family, your neighbors and show kindness to strangers. If you need assistance with getting groceries or other helps, or know someone who needs help, please contact the church office 716-366-6634 or info@dunkirkbaptist.org.

In His service,

Pastor Mark Massaro
