Prince of Peace
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6 ESV
Jesus Christ (Messiah), the Son of God, came to bring peace to the world He created. Only He could fulfil these prophetic words of Isaiah.
Through His death on the cross, Jesus’ blood paid the sacrifice for our sins and brought reconciliation between mankind and God.
Through the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers, Jesus brought peace to people of all the nations, tribes, and languages. Where there was hatred and fighting, there is now peace between brothers and sisters adopted as sons and daughters of God.
Jesus will come again and reign on His throne in Jerusalem bringing peace to the entire world.
Do you have the peace that passes understanding? Peace that will guard your heart and mind? It is found on in the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. (read Philippians 4:4-7)
