Take Aways
Do you have peace with God right now? If you have never repented of your sins, trusted in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ I would encourage you to do that today. You will never find real peace apart from a relationship with God through Jesus. Come talk to me or contact the church if you are watching or listening on-line.
Are you letting God’s Word guard and keep your mind and heart in His perfect peace? You can only do this if you are reading it regularly and choosing to believe God’s promises over your own thoughts and fears.
Are you a peacemaker? Do you humbly and gently try to make peace with people in your life? Do you out of your way to help others find peaceful solutions?
Finding peace in your life right now means choosing to obey God and let His Spirit rule your thoughts, words and actions. Finding peace with God comes only through His Son, the Prince of Peace. He is the reason we celebrate Christmas. Jesus is our peace.
