Message of Reconciliation
Col 1:20-22 – Christ reconciles us to God
Cost = Christ’s blood & life
Not universalism – all are not saved
John 3:16 – whoever believes
1 Tim 2:3-6 – one mediator, Jesus
God forgives our sin – Ps 103:12, Is 43:25, Acts 3:19
Repentance is required
Is 64:6 – Good works are worthless
Eph 2:8-10 – Saved by God’s grace
Rom 10:13 – Everyone who calls on Jesus’ name will be saved
Ambassadors for Christ
Rom 10:14 – Someone has to share the message of Jesus
Believers have the ministry & message of reconciliation
We are ambassadors
John 14:6 – Jesus is the way to God
Jesus is the bread of life
