Back to Church Sunday – September 18
Back to Church Sunday is coming up on Sunday, September 18 at 10:00 am. We’re having a special day specifically designed to welcome people back to church; so now is a good time to visit First Baptist Church for the first time or to return and check us out again.
Hope Happens Here
Our Back to Church theme this year is “Hope Happens Here.” We believe this addresses a real need for hope in today’s culture. After two years of isolation and strife in our communities, people are ready to come together and find authentic community and hope for a better world. This is the perfect time to rejoin, or to try, a local church to find restoration, purpose and hope.
When life doesn’t go according to our plans, it is easy to become discouraged. When we feel out of control, we have the tendency to lose hope. However, whenever we find ourselves feeling this way, we must remember that God has a plan for each and every one of our lives. His plan gives us hope for life today and hope for eternity. His plan is to hold us with His never-ending love. His plan is to give us the strength to overcome. The Church is the place where we discover this plan for our lives. Hope happens here. We can’t do life alone.
We believe there has never been a better time than now for you to come back and get plugged in to a church that offers friendships, opportunities to serve the community, and a place to grow spiritually through a journey of personal faith.
Food & Fun following the Service
Feel free to wear your Buffalo Bills gear and come ready for fun. We hope you will stick around for a delicious lunch outside (weather permitting) and get to know us a little better. Food, Fun, & Prizes too. We’re planning a bounce house, corn hole and other activities too.
