Back to Church Sunday – September 20
Back to Church Sunday is coming up on Sunday, September 20 at 10:00 am. We’re having a special day specifically designed to welcome people back to church; so now is a good time to visit First Baptist Church for the first time or to return and check us out again.
Find Your Place
Most places in life require you to earn your way in. You have to prove yourself through performance, maintain a certain image, or at least appear like you’ve got everything together. But Jesus opens the door to a completely different kind of invitation. He says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” In the kingdom of God, the requirement isn’t strength—it’s weariness. It isn’t perfection—it’s honesty about your need. Finding your place doesn’t start with what you can do for God; it starts with receiving what Christ has already done for you. So, finding your place begins here: not by striving to be enough, but by resting in the One who already is.

If you’re new to the area or you’ve been here for years, we believe there has never been a better time than now for you to come back and get plugged in to a church that offers solid teaching from God’s Word, real friendships, opportunities to serve the community, and a place to grow spiritually on your own journey of personal faith.
