Back to Church Sunday – September 15
Back to Church Sunday is coming up on Sunday, September 15 at 10:00 am. We’re having a special day specifically designed to welcome people back to church; so now is a good time to visit First Baptist Church for the first time or to return and check us out again.
Join us as we CELBRATE!
Our Back to Church theme this year is Celebration. We are celebrating over 190 years in this community (the very first church in Dunkirk in 1830) and we want you to join us. No matter where you’re from, what your background is, or where you are on your journey of faith, we WELCOME YOU here at First Baptist.
The church is more than a building. We’ve had several different buildings and locations over the years. This local church is a COMMUNITY of people who are together exploring and deepening our faith in Jesus Christ by reading God’s Word, by living by faith in Jesus, and by serving our neighbors. Our church is open to everyone. All are welcome.
If you’re new to the area or you’ve been here for years, we believe there has never been a better time than now for you to come back and get plugged in to a church that offers solid biblical teaching, real friendships, opportunities to serve the community, and a place to grow spiritually on your own journey of personal faith. This is a safe place if you have questions about God, life, the Bible, anything!
Food & Fun following the Service
We hope you will stick around for a delicious lunch outside (weather permitting) and get to know us a little better. Food, Fun, & Prizes on the front lawn. We’re planning a bounce house, corn hole and other activities too.
