Worldview: How We See Reality
High School students are welcome to join us for a special Youth Group night of games, food, and the TRUTH!
Andy will talk about the intersection of belief, faith, reason, and truth. I have found that this is one of the biggest problem areas for all college students because of how they were conditioned in high school. My talk would focus on the fact that we can actually know things and not merely believe.
Dr. Andy Giessman, from Addison’s Walk, will be our guest speaker.
He will also be the guest speaker at InterVarsity at SUNY Fredonia on Friday, April 1 and our guest speaker for church on Sunday, April 3. Check our events page for details for each of these engagements.
The Addison’s Walk Center for Chrisitan Studies is a non-profit organization located in Scranton, Pennsylvania under the direction of Andy Giessman. Engaging the academic community at the crossroads of faith, reason, and culture, Addison’s Walk Institute is modeled after other Christian study centers around the world.
The role of a study center is unique within Christianity. The staff and participants are seeking to partner with the university community, within the larger context of the local city or town, for the purpose of demonstrating that orthodox Christianity belongs at the table of ideas.
