Marc Guy

I grew up in Parma, Ohio and accepted Christ as a young boy at Parma Heights Baptist Church but it was in my last year of college that I came face to face with Him in a new and life-changing way.  I’m one of the deacons at First Baptist, I’m deeply involved in the music ministries, and help at church and Central Christian Academy in a variety of other ministries.  My wife, Linda, teaches Sunday School, is involved in facilities, hospitality, and helps keep the church organized and looking good.  We came to First Baptist on our first Sunday in town in August 1983 and have never attended anywhere else!

I taught horn at SUNY Fredonia, love to sing, play the piano and guitar, and am very grateful for the life and opportunities God has put in my path.  Linda is the Coordinator of Nursing Services at the Western New York Developmental Center in West Seneca, NY.  We have two sons – Peter, who has Down Syndrome and lives near us, and Dan, who works in sales and lives in Tampa, FL.
