FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What will the experience be like?

The worship experience at First Baptist begins at 9:30 am and includes music, reading God’s Word and a message. The music is led by our worship leader, utilizing different combinations of instruments and vocalists, is blended and includes hymns of the faith as well as today’s worship music. The message is always centered on God’s Word. You can expect to leave challenged and encouraged! The service lasts approximately 60-75 minutes and is followed by a time of fellowship with some snacks and, of course, coffee! At 11:00 we gather for Sunday School. We have different class offerings for adults and classes for all ages of children and teenagers. A nursery is available for both the Worship Service time and Sunday School.

How early should I get there?

Plan on arriving a few minutes before the service, so you can park and make your way to the auditorium. Try to get into the auditorium before the music starts so you don’t miss anything!

What should I wear?

Clothes that you feel comfortable wearing. People dress in a wide variety of ways. Some will be in a suit and tie or a dress while others will be in jeans and a t-shirt. That is not important. We just want you here!

What about my kids?

We have a nursery available for the tiny ones and we offer a Children’s Church during the Worship Service time up through fourth grade. There are age appropriate Sunday School classes available and the nursery is available during the Sunday School time, also.
